Great food, prices and service
Good home cooked meals. Very cozy and good service.
Great food, a little spendy but the servings are large and filling. If you leave there hungry, it's your own fault
Bought 6 for our house guests. It was okay, for some reason the dough tasted off? Like it tasted almost like it had gone bad and was used the same day? Maybe we just got a bad batch or it’s the way they cook them. Will possibly try again one day.
Food is fantastic, the servers not so much
Good food, friendly staff. Only problem I had was the 45 minute wait on food and we were only 1 of 3 tables. All 2 tops. Other than that. Good wholesome greasy breakfast joint.
Good food and good staff
Great service and wonderful food. Had the cheesy potatoes soup and fish sandwich. Love the taxidermy decor
Good food & service
Nice place. Ducked in here to get off the interstate and out of a terrible thunderstorm. Had a pretty good breakfast despite the awful storm. The sky got so dark the street lights actually came on.
Stopped here for breakfast because I love eating breakfast in family owned restaurants in small towns. Service was excellent but the food was below par. Omelette (they brag about these) was not constructed well and more importantly was served cool. Requested hash browns crispy but again they arrived cool-cold. Reasonable prices. I hope my next visit is better!
Pancake were small egg were dry not like it used to be sorry
This place is something else... Go in once just to say you did.
Amazing place for breakfast and lunch! Love coming here, the service and the atmosphere is incredible. The food quality never ceases to amaze me. Great place, great food, and great people. Highly recommend!
Love there food and the atmosphere is awesome
When I go for breakfast, I want good coffee, good service, short wait, inexpensive food, good food. The coffee was watered down to the point where creamer couldn't save it. The service was pretty good, actually. Wonderful waitresses. The wait was average, got my meal in about 25-30 minutes in a half full restaurant. The food was very expensive for breakfast, I'm talking a 10 dollar egg/meat/potato/toast breakfast. The food was good as any other breakfast joint. The decor was interesting, lots of taxidermied animals hung all over the place.Overall, I wouldn't recommend anybody else go there for breakfast. 24 dollars + 15% tip isn't worth decent food and bad coffee for two people.
CANT EXPRESS TOMAH IS PROUD TO HAVE THIS GREAT EATING PLACE BESIDES SPECIALS PREPARE JUST WAY YOU PREFER
Good food. Service a little slow.
Really good food. Really friendly servers. I highly recommend.
Would of been nice to get more than one cup of coffee.
Always liked their food, great service you don't get with chains.
Had a very good breakfast scramble. Sizable portion, fair price, and quick cheerful service.
Best food in Tomah Wis 💜
Good food fast service.
Always great breakfast, excellent portions and customer service matches.
Realy great food and service, if you are hungry stop here, I had breakfast and it was so good.
Steak was not good and rest of breakfast just ok. Very interesting decor or it would be a two star.
Fast good service, hot decent food but no as good as previous visit almost a year before yet still good and full of value!
Yummy food; great place for breakfast
It was good food
Clean, friendly staff, delicious food and reasonable prices. We'll be back.
Definitely would've missed out on this gem had I not asked a few locals by our hotel where I could find a great breakfast spot. I read the reviews and there were mixed opinions, but I couldn't be happier I ignored the bad ones. Took the family there while on vacation and from start to finish everything was excellent! Hands down the best county fried steak I've ever had. So good, in fact, I ordered 2! I was full from the first but i couldn't resist. My whole family was beyond satisfied with the service and their meals. Great job Greenwood cafe. I will recommend to anyone I know traveling this direction. (We're from NW Indiana)
Food was good! Hasbrowns were crispy and the waffle was delicious! Pretty basic food for a cafe! Our waitress was wonderful and patient with the two year old! Only thing I disliked was how the cook (owner?) yelled at the staff. (loud and inappropriate) Not how any waitress deserves to be treated! 😳
This is a classic old school cafe. Comfortable and great food. The service is spot on, the menu mostly breakfasts and comfort food. All done well. We were content.
The service and food is very good. And it's not too pricey
Best coffee and breakfast in town.
First time to visit, food was good. Wait service was friendly. Will go back
Good food. Interesting atmosphere.
Reasonable prices but service barely ok. Stopped by while driving through Wisconsin. It was just before Packers game was about to start and as the server commented to another customer, they are always slow when there is an early game. My omelette was good, but wrong. I ordered a ham and swiss. After a long wait (given that only 3 tables were occupied and one was already eating) I was served a ham and sausage with American cheese omlette that had 2 small cups of ranch dressing on the side. Server didn't notice the omlette was wrong even though we were the only order she had taken while we were there. Given the wait to get it, I ate it. She spent a lot of time chatting with the owner and a friend at another table with the coffee pot in her hand, but didn't come by to give my friend a refill until we were finished. She did fill the to go cup when he asked.
Great down home meals, reasonably priced, personal service good atmosphere.
Great breakfast but it's a little on the expensive side.
Pricy, for example, bicuits and gravy were $7.99!Their hashbrowns were like chewing on toothpicks with no flavor at all. The bill was not itemized, couldn't tell what price belonged to what food. Still hungry when we left.
FAST SERVICE, GOOD FOOD, INEXPENSIVE GREAT STAFF
Places like this exist in many big cities as a pale imitation of the real thing. But in earnest, a place like Tomah is necessary. Great service, clean orderly room and not so crowded as to impinge upon my relaxation and enjoyment of the experience. I ordered a scramble which was basically a 'skillet' but on a plate, and the eggs as an omelette sheet. That is all fine but they doused everything in nacho cheese which was a bit....intense. I'd come back if the situation arose but 'easy on the cheese, please'.
It was all good food. Generous helpings. I brought home enough for another meal. Prices ok...about $10.00 each
🤤🤤🤤🤤 makes u want to drool.. the food is delicious, it tastes better than majority of restaurants ive been to.. the service is faster than most of the restaurants in the area and even in the towns within an hour driving distance.. the owner works there as a cook.. HI TERRY.. and he loves it when u acknowledge him.. even when his cooking in the back.. he will yell out HI.. if he hears u or sees u.. the employees r like 1 big family and they all run smooth together.. i would highly recommend coming here.. do be warned tho.. for a small grandpops restaurant that has been around for over 30+ years.. the price is a little bit up there.. but it is affordable.. still cheaper than most fastfoods u go to.. and it is healthier too.. we come here every sunday for brunch
Wonderful breakfasts. Very friendly staff.
Food was hot and service was fast and friendly.
The burger of the day is the best!! We recommend the cheesy potato soup too! And great service! We try to make this place for lunch on our annual widows weekend!
Very nice hometown cafe! Making memories with 2 of our grandkids! Best omelet I have had in a long time! We left with happy hearts and tummys 🙂
